The Human Tools Experience is a 120-day cognitive skills programme that helps you identify the thinking errors, cognitive biases, and habitual reactions shaping your decisions, relationships, and daily behaviour.

Then you’ll replace them with the six core cognitive skills that determine how you think, learn, decide, solve problems, and respond to life’s challenges.

What you do.

It is a deeply personal and deeply revealing experience, where the curriculum is you.

You’ll learn the most evidence-based techniques from psychological science, taught as tools, applied in real time to your own life.

Your thoughts. Your decisions. Your patterns. Your problems. Not theory. Not concepts. The work of becoming someone who thinks, decides, and lives deliberately.

How long it takes.

It starts with five days. Then it stays with you for a year.

Five days live in Cape Town or Dubai. Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 8pm. Fifty hours in one room with one cohort. This is where you change.

Then 115 days of structured integration. This is where you embed the tools until they become the way you think.

Then the HT Forum. A small group from your own cohort that keeps meeting for a year, so you use the tools for life, next to people who use them too.

Please only use this option if you honestly can’t afford it. We’ve made the programme as affordable as we can with payment plans — the bursary is reserved for people for whom that still isn’t enough.
The course is designed to limit the impact. You only need three days off — Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Saturday and Sunday are your weekend.
